Message	haven't tried that in 4th though :) : who knows!? I pulled the formula out of Car & Driver a few years ago. I'm sure there's some reasoning behind the '88' : If you don't believe me, test it out on the street. : 1st gear will top out at 43/44 mph, twin turbo 5 spd, stock size tires, 7000 RPM limit. : 2nd gear will top out at 72/73 mph : 3rd gear... 107/108 mph : 4th gear... 139/140 mph
